The Lore: Jace's Fractured Mind
Reality Fracture serves as the epic conclusion to the three-year Metronome and Echoverse arcs. Deep within the subconscious trauma of Jace Beleren, a mental construct known as Hexhaven—a dark, geometrically impossible allied-color counterpart to Strixhaven—has taken root.
As Jace's mind-sculpting powers splinter, reality bleeds into the "Echoverse," creating mirrored realities where iconic characters walked drastically different paths. Planeswalkers are forced to fight alternate versions of themselves—such as a holy, white-aligned Liliana the Repentant or an angelic Ob Nixilis, the Ascended—forcing the Multiverse into a direct showdown against its own echoes.
